Legacy List at Two Years - The Legacy List

Film produced for London Means Business 2

Commissioned for the The Legacy List for the second Mayoral Business Dinner, London Means Business, this short film celebrates the success of the independent charity for the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, set up to suport the creative, educational and cultural legacy of the London 2012 Games.

Filmed over the summer of 2013 across the many projects in East London that The Legacy List has supported, including the Floating Cinema and The Yard theatre, the film also hears from an array of people associated with the charity, including trustees Anita Zabludowicz, June Sarpong, Mark Florman and Howard Dawber, as well as participants from projects, patrons such as Boris Johnson (Mayor of London) and Dennis Hone (CEO of LLDC), and project leaders. An earlier version of the film was initially screened at the Bulgari Hotel in September, at a special event for funders and patrons of The Legacy List, before this final version was screened at the London Means Business event in November 2013.

With many thanks to music producer Clas Tuuth for providing their track Sketch to help get the right East London mood. Footage from the Canals Project and The Yard Theatre kindly provided by Gordon Beswick, Joseph Warley and Ivan Bellaroba.
